History of the Oreo This week we learned about the history of the Oreo cookie. We began the strategy questioning. As we read the text, our inner voice was talking to us about what we learned, already knew, and what we were wondering. As I modeled this strategy to you, I modeled how my inner voice was wondering about the text. I wrote my inner voice on the paper near the context. This helped me remember what I was wondering. If my question was answered, I wrote A and if it wasn't I wrote NA. NA allows you to do further research by reading more books or searching the web.
I have attached a copy of passage we read in class. It is always fun to go back and reread a passage for the second time. A lot of times, we learn new information when we reread.....
